Schilling & Company is a full-service interior design firm with a large, talented team capable of guiding projects from the very first ideas through construction, furnishings, and final accessories. With an in-house general contractor and designers across multiple specialties, we provide a seamless start-to-finish experience—bringing your vision to life without the stress of managing multiple firms or timelines. We also love giving clients a re-fresh to their already beautiful home. Working solely on space planning and selecting updated furniture, lighting, and accessories. Whether it’s new construction, a full renovation, or refining the finishing details, our approach ensures every element is thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed.
Our Story
Founded in 2011 by principal designer Michelle Doughtie, the firm grew out of her passion for creating homes that reflect the unique lifestyles and personalities of her clients. Michelle graduated from Auburn University in 1995 with a degree in Interior Design, and spent nearly a decade working at a large Atlanta design firm on residential projects across the country. After stepping away to raise her three children, she returned to the creative world by establishing Schilling & Company—a firm built around collaboration, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to client-focused design.
